Warcraft Auction House Mastery is the newest gold farming guide to hit the market. While all gold guides cover at least a small section on monopolizing the auction house, Mayle has taken it to a whole different level. Her gold guide revolves completely around utilizing the auction house in order to make quite a nice amount of gold.

Those of you who have been long term readers here at Warcraft Guide List know that I don’t promote anything I haven’t purchased, and this is no different. I bought the guide and used it for several days and was actually quite surprised at the quality of the videos. See, AH Mastery is more of a video series than a traditional guide. There are a literally a TON of videos available to show you exactly how to do everything that you need to know in order to make 1000’s off the Auction House.

While some of the methods are common sense and things you may already be doing, I did manage to find several that were quite informative, even to someone like me who has been playing for years and owns every gold guide out there. If you are having trouble getting gold or you just want to horde up on money for the cataclysm release next year, I actually really like this guide. Mainly because what it teaches are methods that you can adapt and use pretty much forever. The AH won’t be going anywhere any time soon.

The quality really is top notch and these sample videos are a great way to find out if this is something you really want to get. It’s not cheap at $57, but I have already made about 7,500 gold since I bought it just using one of the ideas I got. So to me, I think long term, this guide is worth the money.

Hayden Hawke’s Gold guide is one of the newest guides on the market. It took me quite a while to review this guide because I honestly didn’t feel like getting in game and working on it all. A large part of that is because of the types of methods in this gold guide. Let’s get one thing straight from the start; Hayden Hawke’s Secret Gold Guide is a standard, PDF based, gold guide. So let me get to my first point.

Hayden Hawke – The Content

Is it too much to ask that the market evolve over time? When I first opened up this new gold guide, I couldn’t help but be taken back to my days with Valkor’s Gold Guide, back before Burning Crusade even released. That is not to say that it isn’t a great guide and that the methods don’t work, it just doesn’t push the envelope at all. If I had used this guide BEFORE I got the auction house mastery gold guide, I probably would have been more impressed.

That being said, their are a lot of good farming methods in this guide. I managed around 431 gold per hour on average from these methods after I did the math. So all in all it was actually fairly productive. I just got really bored doing it, and that is the part that I hate. That is why it took so long to put up my review.

What do you get?

You actually get a fair amount of stuff. It has the main guide, which has a bunch of different techniques, farming spots, etc. You also get a bunch of crafting and profession extras that can help you use your professions to make money. For the $49 price tag, it’s actually a pretty comprehensive package when compared to the rest of the stuff on the market. Aside from the auction mastery guide I mentioned earlier, it is probably one of the best PDF based guides available.

Final Verdict?

Hayden Hawke has definitely put together a nice package with a lot of great techniques. That being said, I would have liked to have seen video’s and a more entertaining package than the standard PDF. I am really looking for gold guides to push the envelope at this point as it has been a long time since anyone tried anything new.

It’s not a bad guide and the $49 price tag isn’t bad. Like I said, I average 431 gold an hour which is a pretty decent sum. If your looking for a gold guide and you need money asap, then this guide will give you the methods you need. You’ll just be somewhat bored doing them. Personally, I think your money is better off spent on the newly released Auction House Mastery Guide.

Zygor Leveling Guides Review

Zygor Leveling Guides is hands down the top 1 to 80 Leveling Guide on the market right now. It is available in Both Horde and Alliance versions and has the easiest to follow leveling chain of any of the guides. They all contain add-ons but Zygors leveling add-on takes it to a whole different level.

Zygor revolves his system around the use of the in game add-on.

Step By Step Quests

It tells you what quests to do. The in game window will tell you where to go to accept a quest, where to go to complete it, how to complete it, and then where to turn it in. It also automatically moves to the next step in the leveling chain upon completion. It even gives you an arrow and distance to your next objective to point you in the right direction, and to be honest it made the game a lot more fun for me.

With Zygor, Never Feel Lost Again

Because of his step by step directions, I never once found a point where I didn’t know where to go or what to do to level. I still got sidetracked at the auction house sometimes, but I never had to go look up what zone to go to next or where to get more quests. You also never have to worry about where a named mob is or where to find a rare item, it’s all in the in game window, right at your fingertips.

Best of All, Zygor’s method is Blazing Fast!

I have used Zygor’s leveling guide twice now. The first time it took me 6 days of /played time (well really it was 6 days, 7 hours), to get to 80. Now I am leveling a Death Knight up and I am at 75 in about 1 day. I don’t think I would even know how to play anymore without my zygor window, haha. Oh an Zygor went back and removed ALL of the grinding from the guide a couple months ago. So it is completely quest based now, all the way from 1 to 80.

If you are looking for a 1-80 Leveling Guide, Zygor is the best option for the money. It’s easy to use and the interface has a really nice design. This is my #1 Recommendation! Dugi has a nice guide, but Zygor is just insanely easy to use.
