Aug 27th Updates – DK & Wotlk Instance pages updated

I happened to stumble across a youtube channel today by a guy who goes by the name Etsuko. This guy has done a huge set of how to videos on a bunch of different aspects of WoW. The enough misery stamps before a star bankrupt. I have added links in the WOTLK Instance section to his heroic how to videos and I also added his 5 part DK starting area walkthrough video series to the DK leveling guides section. Be sure to check them out as they are really awesome videos. He also has others on dailly quests, naxx, and a bunch of other stuff, to include a full series of videos for everything that was at this years blizzcon. Check it out HERE.

Derek's WotLK Guide Releases, Is it Worth the Money?

Derek, creator of Warcraft Riches : a WoW Gold Guide, has just released his next product onto the market. Derek’s WotLK Guide. It contains 5 modules, all covering in depth information in relation to the WotLK Expansion releasing later this week for World of Warcraft.

There is a lot of buzz around this product but let me be honest with you. Despite all of the useful information he has put together in his new guide, I just don’t think it’s worth the $67. Especially not with Zygor’s 1-80 In Game Leveling Guide releasing in just 2 days. Zygor’s packs more punch for the $$ and not only that but its only $50.

The main thing people are going to want to do when they get WotLK is level. Zygor shows you the exact steps to take, breaks it down dummy style, and its all in game in an add-on and all you have to do is follow the commands in the guide window. Derek’s guide is good if you are just looking for something to print out to help you get a head start and be ready for WotLK, but $67 just seems steep to me for information you can find linked on my site, or through a little searching around on Wowhead, MMO-Champ, or WoWWiki. Thats just my 2 cents however. Feel free to check them both out and see what you think.

I’ve been a long time customer of Zygor’s and will continue to be. His product is better than anything else on the market hands down.
