Introduction

Team iDemise came seemingly out of nowhere to turn the leveling guide market on it's head. Whereas gamers had only one option before in Brian Kopp's guide, Team iDemise offered up a much more interesting alternative. Having been professional gamers for years, iDemise took a new approach to Speed Leveling and created what I believe to be the best Alliance Leveling Guide currently on the market.

Map Mod - 5 / 5

One of the greatest innovations Team iDemise has made is in the creation of their map mod. Prior to the release of their leveling guide, the best thing we had seen on the market was a simple coordinate based system that would offer up waypoints on the map to coordinates listed in the guide or on thottbot for a specific quest. Team iDemise has come up with some much more detailed and amazingly efficient. The iDemise map mod has created a completely in-game leveling guide. All of the steps are listed in chronological order, with detailed instructions, directly on your map in game. What does this mean for you? It means no more alt-tabbing over and reading a PDF, then following a link to thottbot or wowhead to read a description of what to do. Simply click the step on the list on the right of your map, highlight the waypoint, and read what to do. Leveling could not get any easier than this!

Videos - 3 / 5

Team iDemise uses videos for their guide, but in a different manner than something like Joana's Guide. They do not have a video that encompasses the entire leveling process, but they do offer up several videos to show you how to complete some of the most difficult to understand quests. Steven (the creator of the guide), has said on many occasions that more videos would come to follow. Right now however, he is focusing on the core guide itself and making it as easy and efficient as possible.

Flow of Guide - 4 / 5

Every step is listed directly on your map, in order, with descriptions for what to do. Not only that but at the end of each zone the last step tells you exactly where to go next. This makes the guide flow very well and it is extremely easy to follow. Several of the leveling sections had steps that were a bit confusing at the time of release, but Steven is currently re-writing the sections that he personally fealt weren't up to par. This will result in what is probably the most consistent and easy to follow of all the guides currently on the market!

Presentation - 4 / 5

The iDemise guide as I have already said is completely in-game. It is all listed right on your map mod. This means that their is very little room to improve the presentation of the guide. It is however well organized and easy to read. You won't strain your eyes or get dizzy trying to follow it. I deducted a point due to his removing the original HTML version of the guide. I was a big fan of the HTML guide that Steven created and was very dissapointed to see it go.

 Customer Service - 5 / 5

Steven of iDemise knows what customer service is all about. He readily posts on his members page to let everyone know exactly what is going on with the guide. Not only that but he updates the guide at least twice a week to streamline the process. Everyone gives lifetime updates, but in this case, that is a promise that holds some weight.

Overall - 4 / 5

While I would love to give this guide a 5 star rating, it is not perfect. The map mod V.2 is not all of the way finished as of yet, and taking down the HTML guide really dissapointed me as I loved the layout and style of it. I would also like to see more videos and class guides added to the site as I believe they are a great bonus for the people who are brand new to the game.

Summary

Even though it is rated only 4 stars, the Team iDemise Leveling Guide is the best guide on the market. It is my personal favorite and is well worth the money for membership. The lifetime membership is going to be very valuable due to all of the updates, and Steven is very responsive to his membership community. If you are looking for a great leveling guide with the easiest to use interface and best customer service, iDemise is the place to be. All I have to say is this, Goodbye Brian Kopp, Hello iDemise!
